okay, this time I'll be posting about my last trip to Singapore.
end of last June, from 21-24 I went to Singapore. right a week after I arrived at Jakarta from shanghai. I don't know, on that time I just did feel so bored living in Jakarta, ah Jakarta. a city with a lot of congestion, pollution, scorching day and another bad things hehehe :p.
therefore I decided to go to Singapore, a country that can be said extremely near from Jakarta, don't need visa (as Indonesian), so it's very easy to go there.
that time, I did go just by myself, without joining any tour or a.k.a as a backpacker, but not as easy as it's seen, I've got enough many unexpected troubles when I went there.
the day, 21 June.
my ticket is around at 5 pm o'clock, but I went to the airport at 4.30 pm, I knew, it was gonna be late due to from my home to airport is at least needed an hour. thus, I ask my taxi driver to be as fast as possible, because you know, I'll be late, crap. unfortunately, the driver ain't fast enough, i don't know why, I have asked him numerous times to be faster and then, after a while he did take initiative to take busway's line and went onto it, the driver thought that if he took it, it can make us to be faster, as you know there is no another cars except the busway itself on busway's line. yeah, he was 100% right, but not for that time. eng ing eng in the end of the busway's pavements there was a police who stopped us, shit. we were "ditilang", I talked to the police and told the police that if I was in very very hurry, I neededmto catch my flight, after which as you know what, I was fined by the police.
What a lucky day
yeah, finally I did arrive at soekarno hatta international airport Jakarta. yes, this was my lucky day, due the airplane was being delayed I still had time to check in at the counter. however not as lucky as that hahaha. when I arrived at Singapore. MY BAGGAGES WERE MISSING, yeah MISSING. "whoot missing?" yes yes yes right. they were missing. I panicked, what the heck happened to my BAGGAGES?. then I came to lost and found baggage claim counter at Singapore airport to claim my baggage told them mine was missing. I have checked 3 times at the belt, to made sure were my Baggages really missing. I fill the form that given by the person lost and found counter. they said I have to wait for the proccess and scrutinizing what really has happened to my baggage. okay fine. then I waited.

*and still waiting*
*waiting* *an hour later*
*waiting*
*10.30 pm*
*and still waiting*
after have been waiting for almost 2 hours, the receptionist called and informed me what was going on. she said there were some error that made my BAGGAGES were not brought to the airplane and the airline also has confirmed that my BAGGAGES still at Jakarta.
*DENG!*
what !?
so I said to the receipsionist
"then, what sort of solution you could offer to me?. it 100% could be made sure ain't possible me staying at Singapore, here without my clothes, BAGGAGES and the stuff inside"
she was thinking, and suddenly she made a call don't know to whom. after about 10 minutes she talked to the phone. I didnt really hear what they were talking about.
R: "okay sir, here the solution. now you could go to your hotel and check ini, tomorrow hopefully your BAGGAGES arrive at Singapore airline. because the 'singa' airline promises to sent your baggage to singapore. we'll send your BAGGAGES to your hotel.
huhhhh. I went to my hotel then w/ still a disappointed feeling why this all could happen, to me.
22-24 June.
eng ing eng my baggage were sent to my hotel. finally I can change my clothes, yeah.
i did go, eat and shopping to a lot while I'm at Singapore. i went to orchard, Arab street, bugis and many many more.
it was really fun being at Singapore, the people there really nice and friendly.
I hope I can be there again soon :-)
